The story of a Chicago Kids Musician

The Story of a Chicago Kids Musician

Ann Torralba aka Little Miss Ann is a former Chicago Public School teacher, first generation Filipina-American, mom, and a veteran instructor at Chicago's Old Town School of Folk Music.  She has made 5 kids cd's including her latest, "Keep On" with Amy D. "Keep On" was produced by Grammy award winning producer, Dean Jones and received a Silver Parent's Choice Award.

Little Miss Ann's songs have been featured on Sirius XM Kids Place Live, WXPN Kids Corner, WTMD Young at Heart, WXRT Local Anesthetic, and on the NAEYC Featured songs page.  Little Miss Ann and her band have brought their down-to-earth, yet upbeat, interactive and energetic performances to Millennium Park, SXSW, Lollapalooza, 92Y Tribeca and Brookfield Place in NYC, Overture Center, and more.

"Ann and her band are sneaky good -- the songs and the show builds until kids and their grown-ups are drawn in maybe more than expected" says Bill Childs, Spare the Rock, Spoil the Child and SXSW kindie stage producer.

Little Miss Ann considers herself a late bloomer. She is very happy to have found something she LOVES to do. She really enjoys playing music that brings happiness to kids as well as sending positive messages to young souls.
